When filling out your information make sure that it is correct before you submit your application. If you miss any of the following steps your slide and virtual business slide can not be completed.

STEP 1
​Scroll down to fill out the "New Member Application". Provide as many details as possible and make sure everything is correct and how you want it to be seen seen on your Member Card, Slide and V-Card.

​After you've submitted your application please email [email protected] your headshot and provide the following in your email. With the Subject line: BWT
  • Colored Headshot
  • Your Name
  • Business Name & Title

* If you do not have an appropriate headshot it will be replaced with our BWT business logo until you submit a new one.

    What is an example of a URL?
    URL is an acronym for Uniform Resource Locator and is a reference (an address) to a resource on the Internet. A URL has two main components: Protocol identifier: For the URL http://example.com , the protocol identifier is http . Resource name: For the URL http://example.com , the resource name is example.com 

    What is the link for a website?
    In a website, a hyperlink (or link) is an item like a word or button that points to another location. When you click on a link, the link will take you to the target of the link, which may be a webpage, document or other online content. Websites use hyperlinks as a way to navigate online content.
    Business Bio must include:
    • Your Business Name
    • Your Job Title
    • 1 Paragraph ONLY about who you are and what you do, shows your expertise and credibility, and demonstrates your experience and background.
STEP 3
​Submit your payment. Your payment, application, and headshot must be received before your virtual business slide and virtual business card are created.

Membership Expectations​

Membership is offered to businesswomen who are engaged in business-to-business endeavors as entrepreneurs or salespeople, as long as their business does not compete with or overlap the business of a current member. Membership is limited to 40, but slots open as members make career changes or move to other locations.

Regular, on-time attendance and up-to-date dues are also requirements. Members who are unable to attend regularly miss opportunities to give and receive referrals. When a member has 3 unexcused absences in a quarter or dues are not paid by the second meeting of each quarter, she forfeits her membership.​

Members who know they will miss a meeting due to illness, a business time conflict, vacation, appointment, transportation issue or family need, contact the Secretary - Treasurer prior to the meeting for an excused absence.

Dues

Dues include a one-time initiation fee of $75 for headshot and profile setup, and yearly dues of $200. Members may elect to pay dues yearly or biannually. All new members joining between Jan - June1 would pay a full year, after July 1 you would pay half a year.  ​

Benefits of Membership

In addition to weekly meetings where general and specific leads are shared, Business Women of the Triad maintains this web site with members' profiles. Our website site serves as a fast connection to information about members' services and products, and their contact information. 

We also encourage all members to meet one-to-one with the other members at least once a year to learn more about their businesses, opportunities for referrals and discover synergies.

Typically we have two evening parties per year for informal time together and plenty of laughter!
